A trailblazing celebrity chef is set to host the ultimate party this Sunday and serve up delicious sandwiches at a Sydney bar.  

Paul Carmichael, head chef of former fine dining restaurant Momofuku Seiko, which shut down last year, is serving up Caribbean snacks on March 27 from 6pm. 

The popular chef that was born in Barbados is set to make two delicious sandwiches at Earl’s Juke Joint, located in the Sydney suburb of Newtown.

Chef Paul will create a sandwich with cold fried chicken and a delicious vegan jerk eggplant option, that will both be made with famous AP Bakery bread. 

The sandwich party is set to start at 6pm sharp on Sunday and will be backed by Don Julio Tequila so customers can expect margaritas flowing all night. 

To keep up with the Caribbean and Barbados vibe popular DJ Nick Toth will be in charge of the decks blasting classic reggae tunes all night.

Paul’s Sandwich Joint will only sell the two sandwich flavours and Don Julio cocktails until they are all sold out. 

Chef Carmichael is not afraid to incorporate his heritage and bold flavours he grew up with into his tasty recipes. 

The chef is extremely passionate about sharing his Caribbean culture with diners and this Sunday assures that they will be in for a treat.

Earl’s Juke Joint have spread the sandwich party announcement news on social media to fans and many have shared their excitement. 

‘Sounds like my type of party! Sandwiches and music, doesn’t get much better,’ an excited diner wrote. 

‘This looks fun. The two sandwiches they are slinging are fried chicken and vegan jerk eggplant,’ another wrote.
