A celebrity fortune teller has revealed the secret to reading your palm at home, and shared the meaning behind a short life line and the creases at the side of your fist.
Chris Riley, 25, from Essex, boasts a host of VIP clients, including Gemma Collins, and a long list of sold-out live shows at £25 a ticket, marking him one of the most successful psychics in the country.
The fortune teller, who found his gift at the age of 9 when he predicted his home would be broken into, told FEMAIL how a short life line indicates that you are easily influenced, a long life line shows you are in good health, and a forked one means you will change life direction.
Meanwhile the heart line gives an indication of your love life, and the head line shows whether your personality.
Chris says: ‘Our palms can provide great insights into our futures. From what we’re like as people to our love lives, we can learn a lot from the lines that are written in our palms. Your destiny is a lot simpler to unveil than you might think.’
He suggests reading both palms, explaining: ‘I believe that your left palm offers insight into your destiny, or what is mapped out for you, whilst your right palm highlights actions and events that are based on choices, decisions and things you do in life. I always look at both palms to deliver an accurate and insightful reading.’

The life line
‘You can locate your life line as the line that runs between the index finger and thumb and travels towards the wrist.
‘If you have a long life line, this shows you have good health and are a well-balanced person. This also shows that you are a strong-minded and determined individual, and that you will work to achieve your goals.
‘If your life line is shorter, this shows you can be easily influenced and that people may be able to control you easily. It also means that you are a source of help and support for the people around you, they often turn to you for advice. You ultimately put others before yourself.
‘If your life line has any breaks or gaps, this can show struggles or changes. These changes could be your living situation, location, or a new job. Breaks can also indicate emotional trauma or stressful times. However, if your life line is clear then you are independent and strong and will be able to persevere through tough times.
Meanwhile the lines at side of your fist supposedly indicate how many children you will have
‘If your life line is forked then this also indicates redirection and changes in your life, perhaps you will be travelling in the future or relocating.
‘If your life line is doubled or if there is more than two lines then there are multiple meanings. It can suggest that your soul mate is just on the horizon, or it can mean you have someone special guiding and watching over you.
‘Finally, it can also show that you may be in denial with past issues in your life, which you may need to come to terms with in the future. ‘

The heart line
‘The top heart line, which begins near your middle finger and extends towards your little finger, provides insight into our love lives and emotions.
‘If your heart line ends between your middle finger and index finger then this shows that you are someone who is very caring and may possibly care too much about others.
‘However, if your heart line starts below your middle finger then you are a natural-born leader, with a strong business mind.
The ‘side’ lines
‘If you’re wondering how many children you might have in your future, then look no further than your little finger.
‘If you make a fist and look on the side of your hand where your little finger creases into your palm, you’ll see little lines stemming out towards your knuckle. These can indicate how many children you’re destined to have!’
The fate line
‘You can’t always see the fate line but it typically stems from the bottom of your palm upwards, often reaching the middle of the hand.
