The Champions League has been whittled down to four teams for the semi-finals after some big upsets in the quarter-final.

Two English top flight clubs remain after Manchester United gave easy passage for Barcelona to the next stage and all-English clash resulted in Tottenham reigning victorious against Man City after away goals put Spurs through on aggregate (4-4).

Elsewhere, Ajax knocked out Juventus after beating them 2-1 on their turf and drawing 1-1 at home in the first leg plus Liverpool won both legs with no real threat coming from Porto.
