The hosts for Channel 10’s I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! Australia have been confirmed after reports Bindi Irwin could be set to step in and host alongside her younger brother Robert.

Conservationist Robert Irwin, 20, made a glowing impression on fans when he took over as co-host of the show this year alongside longtime presenter Julia Morris, 56.

And the network is set to officially announce the 2025 lineup at their annual Upfronts presentation on Monday.

Daily Mail Australia can confirm Julia and Robert will return to the South African jungle next year.

A Ten insider tells Daily Mail Australia: ‘Stylists and makeup artists have been booked and the pair have been rehearsing their banter which is set to take centre stage – as Network Ten packs a few surprises in their line-up for next year.

‘The Gold Logie double nomination for these two was really what had the duo locked and loaded.’

According to the insider, Julia was unsure for a long time if the show would return, but has been delighted in telling friends the gig is back on her slate in 2025.

However, there were some concerns about securing Robert back for the series which had the Queensland native requesting two months off from Australia Zoo to headline the celebrity series yet again.

‘There was a lot of back and forth getting the contract right and there are a few movie star requests that prove this isn’t just any old TV presenter,’ the insider adds.

But the deal was the right decision for the youngest Irwin to return to South Africa for another wild series with Julia.

‘The opportunity to put Julia back with Robert was something the network could not afford to be a one-off,’ says the source.

‘Network Ten doesn’t have anyone else to be the face of the network and these two know how to sell a whole slate of shows to media buyers and advertisers, which is why the pair have been signed up to launch the network’s plans in 2025.’

Hosting I’m A Celebrity is a job that everyone wants, and rumour has it Dr Chris Brown has been regretting handing over the reins and jumping ship to Channel Seven.

Chris signed a two-year contract with Seven worth more than $1million a year following his contractual obligations for I’m A Celebrity at his former network.

‘Some people think Robert Irwin has upstaged the TV vet while others have noticed the 20-year-old has borrowed quite a bit [of knowledge] as his successor,’ the source continues.

Meanwhile, mum Terri Irwin is set to accompany Robert on his return to South Africa, just like last year.

‘Terri Irwin will be back with him and the invitation to the rest of the Irwin family will be there. They are a package deal. You really don’t buy one without the others,’ the insider says.

‘They have a bond that is almost unheard of in this industry.’

Channel 10’s Upfronts is set to see several shock and surprise announcements, including the return of a well-loved reality series that disappeared from TV screens in 2024.

‘The Taskmasters team is also set to be in attendance as is the return of another reality show which was absent from last year’s lineup,’ confirms the source.

Casting for I’m A Celebrity is officially in full swing and the team at ITV Studios Australia have already snatched up some big-name stars they have been chasing for years.

Amid Robert’s huge success, rumours had been previously circulating that Terri was pushing for Bindi, 26, to join the franchise as Robert’s co-host in 2025 — which Channel 10 has since denied.

An insider told Daily Mail Australia last month: ‘I’d say someone at Ten is looking at how they can guarantee I’m A Celebrity’s return for the next ten years and that is why there is the potential for the Irwins to completely take over the celebrity-based-competition.’

Mumager Terri, who runs Australia Zoo with her two children, was said to be keen to see Bindi join Robert as co-host to give the reality show a ‘refresh’.

‘Terri would have more control over the show and this would be an exciting refresh of the brand,’ the source said.

‘The Irwins would love to contribute their passion and positivity to the show and create more awareness of our natural world.’
