Love Island Australia debuts on Sunday and advertising is already underway for the adult-themed series.
But Sunday night’s new promo had viewers up in arms and taking to Twitter to vent their frustrations after the racy ad aired during family-friendly show, The Voice Australia.
The ad featured sexy singles stripping off and making sensuous comments to camera, and some viewers – particularly those with children who’d seen the ad while watching the singing competition – were not amused.

One angry mum Tweeted that her five-year-old daughter had seen the commercial and she was struggling to explain its contents to her.
She wrote: ‘@TheVoiceAU @Channel9 thought this was a family show…until the ad for Love Island came. Try explaining this to Miss5!’
Another mum complaind: ‘@Channel9 Can you not show ads for #loveisland when children are watching #theVoice please?’
Yet another angrily suggested that viewers offended by the ad make an official complaint with Free TV Australia.
She wrote: ‘Anyone seen the offensive promo that is #LoveIslandAU? If so, you’ll be needing this’ before attaching a link to the Free TV Australia website’s submissions form.

One woman’s ample derriere is visible as she pulls down her clothing, while another woman takes off her shirt to show a bra underneath.
One contestant makes the suggestive comment that, ‘My fantasy man is someone who comes home sweaty and ready for a throwdown’.
The Nine Network declined to comment when approached by Daily Mail Australia.
