Channel Nine set for major shake-up following Gold Logie loss

Channel Nine could undergo a major shake-up soon, with some of the network’s top talent allegedly looking to move elsewhere.

According to unsubstantiated reports in New Idea, Tracy Grimshaw is ‘reconsidering her future career plans’ after her shock loss to Grant Denyer at the Logies.

Karl Stefanovic is also supposedly eyeing a move to the U.S. to escape public scrutiny, while Lisa Wilkinson is reportedly being wooed back from Channel Ten.

The publication claims that Tracy, who currently hosts A Current Affair, is mulling a career move, which could include transitioning into radio.

Nine are said to be ‘pulling out all the stops’ to keep the 58-year-old happy, and have promised her ‘more control’ over her segments.

Meanwhile, Karl is apparently thinking about relocating to America to escape the ‘public scrutiny’ he faces in Australia.

And lastly, Nine are reportedly attempting to ‘woo’ Lisa back following her recent cameo on Australian Ninja Warrior.

The 58-year-old former Today presenter left Nine last year for a new role on Channel Ten’s The Project.

However, a source at Nine tells Daily Mail Australia that the reports are ‘rubbish based on Channel 7, our competitors, rumours to destabilise our business.’

Ratings for the network have been a mixed-bag this year, with several hits and misses.

Married At First Sight and the State of Origin have delivered the highest TV ratings of the year, but numbers have dropped for Australian Ninja Warrior and The Voice.

The network is currently gearing up for the next season of The Block, which should be another ratings sensation if last season is anything to go by.
