Channel Seven’s celebrity strip show The Full Monty WON’T air this year after filming was cancelled due to Covid-19 restrictions

Seven has been unable to film its latest Full Monty special, reports TV Tonight.

Sources at the network say the live strip show, which sees celebrities bare all for charity, has been parked for now due to the ongoing Covid lockdown.

The show was set to return to screens later this year but requires a large audience for its finale, which won’t be possible in Sydney.

Other shows affected by the lockdowns include Dancing with the Stars.

Some of Australia’s most well-known celebrities have appeared on the Channel Seven strip show over the years. 

They include Jett Kenny, Kris Smith, Matt Cooper, Sam Mac and Shane Jacobson.

The likes of Nadia Bartel, Casey Donovan, Lisa Curry and Simone Callahan have also stripped off for a good cause. 

The women’s show raised funds and awareness for breast cancer.  

During an episode from 2019, Nadia discussed her recent separation from husband Jimmy Bartel in an emotional interview.

‘It’s been a tough time personally for me recently. It’s just so painful,’ she said, fighting back tears.

‘I’m hoping with Ladies’ Night it will give me more confidence,’ she added.

‘Obviously we’re there for the cause, but I think it will be great for me to put myself out there.

‘[It’s about] doing something that is definitely totally out of my comfort zone. I think it will give me a whole new load of confidence.’
