Channel Seven presenter Sally Obermeder buys a $2.7million European-inspired home in Clovelly

Former TV host Sally Obermeder and her husband Marcus have bought a gorgeous beachside house in Sydney’s eastern suburbs for $2.656million. 

The Mediterranean-style home in Clovelly has three bedrooms and two bathrooms.

Built in the 1990s as part of a gated complex, the two-storey property last sold in 2015 for $1.52million, reports The Daily Telegraph.

Obermeder, 48, best known for presenting Seven’s The Daily Edition, already owns two investment properties in Bondi, with one worth just over $1.4million.

The Clovelly home boasts two levels of alfresco-style living and an open-plan design that provides a light and airy atmosphere.

A second-storey balcony has views of the ocean and the leafy suburb, while the downstairs features an elegant garden.

Each of the three bedrooms is queen-size with built-in wardrobes, with the master also having its own private balcony and ensuite.

The gourmet kitchen is fitted with a stone breakfast bar, top-of-the-range appliances and a gas cooktop.

Other highlights include a wrap-around outdoor entertainment area, which includes built-in seating and a BBQ terrace.

Obermeder founded the the SWISH lifestyle nutrition brand with her sister Maha Corbett in 2013, after being diagnosed with stage-three cancer in 2011 at age 38.

SWIISH stands for ‘Stylish Women Inspiring Inner Strength, Health and Happiness.  

Obermeder was declared cancer-free in 2012, after undergoing chemotherapy, two mastectomies and reconstructive surgery.

She quit Channel Seven in 2021 to concentrate on her business.
