Included in the dropped charges were also two counts of stalking.

On Thursday the court dropped nine charges against Richard Pusey, he has since applied for bail

However Pusey was not around to hear the good news after refusing to appear at Collingwood’s Neighbourhood Justice Centre via video link from the Melbourne Remand Centre.

A prisoner officer told the court Pusey was refusing attendance.

The Age reports the court waited 26 minutes before continuing proceedings without him.

‘He is refusing to attend. Apologies for wasting your time,’ the prison officer said.

In a previous hearing for the case Pusey had claimed police had falsified the accusations and that the legal system could not be trusted.

The dropped charges were related to the assault of a police officer, stalking, and an incident where Pusey allegedly left cat faeces on a person's property

‘I’m not lying to you, the police are lying,’ he claimed.

Pusey first gained notoriety in 2020 for filming the tragic deaths of Leading Senior Constable Lynette Taylor, Senior Constable Kevin King and constables Josh Prestney and Glen Humphris after they were hit by a truck.

The officers had pulled Pusey over for speeding in his Porsche along the Eastern Freeway in Kew when they were fatally struck by the truck.

Pusey is now being held in custody while awaiting sentencing for allegedly posting a photo of a dead police officer from the horrific Kew crash in a Google review for a Porsche Centre Melbourne dealership earlier this year on February 7.

He will also face charges for allegedly menacing behaviour towards Australian Financial Complaints Authority staff in November last year, when he was on bail.

Pusey has applied for bail and will argue his case for freedom on Tuesday.

In a previous hearing Pusey said he wanted to organise a trip to the hospital for gender reassignment surgery.
