Charles Barkley revealed Saturday night that he had lost a whopping 60 pounds, with his doctor warning him that he needed to improve his health.

Speaking on the ‘NHL on TNT’ pregame show before Game 4 of the Stanley Cup Finals between the Panthers and Golden Knights, Barkley was complimented on his physique before revealing his recent transformation.

‘My doctor told me I was fat,’ he said. So I’m down 60 pounds.’

‘She said to me, ‘there’s no fat old people, only fat young people… if you don’t get this stuff together you’re not gonna be around.”

Barkley, who was known as the ‘Round Mound of Rebound’ during his playing days also said that he was using the drug Mounjaro for weight loss.

The NBA Hall of Famer also spoke about his upcoming CNN talk show with Gayle King.

The show, which is expected to begin this fall according to the network, will be a ‘no holds barred look at current topics,’ King said in April.

But not everyone has confidence in Barkley pulling it off.

‘Apparently with this new talk show I’m jumping on the titanic,’ he said Saturday. ‘Everybody keeps saying ‘abort, abort.”

While he’s more well known for his legendary NBA career and his spot on ‘Inside the NBA’ (also on TNT), Barkley is a longtime hockey fan and complimented the sport before the game began.

‘I love your guys’ sport, it is so awesome,’ he said, before deriding the ‘load management and ‘superteams’ in the NBA.

‘I love the fact that you guys only care about winning the Stanley Cup. And that’s what all sports should be.

Barkley predicted the Panthers to tie up the series at 2-2 after winning Game 3.
