Newly-eliminated Bachelorette star Charlie Newling stumbled through a rather awkward radio interview with his girlfriend Dasha Gaivoronski on Friday.
The couple were interviewed together on Kyle and Jackie O the day after his departure from the dating show, but bizarrely denied they were in a relationship.
Charlie, 31, and Dasha, 32, have been secretly dating for several weeks and have been spotted together in Sydney on several occasions.

When radio host Jackie ‘O’ Henderson asked the pair to confirm they are in a relationship, Dasha responded with a bare-faced lie.
‘No, we are not a couple,’ said the Russian-born personal trainer.
She even denied they had had sex, but did admit they have kissed ‘maybe once’.
Charlie added: ‘We haven’t put a label on [our relationship]. We clicked and became quite close friends.’

The interview took an even more awkward turn when host Kyle Sandilands asked the tradesman if he wanted to sleep with Dasha.
He replied that he did, but Dasha claimed she ‘wasn’t sure yet’.
Despite previously saying they weren’t dating, Dasha seemingly contradicted herself later in the interview by acknowledging they had been an item for ‘three weeks’.

Charlie also admitted earlier in the segment that Channel 10 ‘didn’t like’ that he was flaunting his relationship with Dasha so publicly.
However, he said network bosses have since changed their minds and are more supportive of their romance.
‘We were told [by Channel 10], “If someone special comes along, we’re not going to stop you,”‘ he said.

Daily Mail Australia reported last month that he broke his Bachelorette contract by dating Dasha while still a contestant on the dating show.
A source said at the time: ‘He’s trying to sabotage the whole show. Who knows if his relationship with Dasha is the real deal – but one thing’s for sure, we know he doesn’t win.
‘The ratings are bad enough as it is without the frontrunners giving away the ending.’
Charlie was eliminated on Thursday’s episode of The Bachelorette after pressuring Ali to commit to him during hometown visits.
The final three contestants are Todd King, Taite Radley and Bill Goldsmith.
The Bachelorette continues Wednesday at 7:30pm on Channel 10
