Charlotte Crosby reveals she’s SPLIT with I’m A Celeb co-star Ryan Gallagher

Charlotte Crosby has split with boyfriend Ryan Gallagher after the pair started up a romance on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! Australia. 

Confirming the news to 10 Daily, the British reality star insisted that the pair are ‘still friends’ and she ‘loves him to bits.’

Charlotte, 29, said that along with adjusting to everyday life after their time in the jungle and the issue of long distance, the ‘bubble popped.’

Stepping out solo: Charlotte was seen taking selfies of herself outside her Sydney Hotel on Thursday, the same day she announced the news 

‘When me and Ryan came out of the jungle I made no secret that I had been in a very long relationship and I wasn’t ready to jump into another one,’ Charlotte told the publication.  

She said after their stint on the popular show, she had reservations about a serious romance. 

‘I still wasn’t looking for something serious, he’s at a stage in his life where he is — so we came to a mutual decision that we’d just cool it off,’ Charlotte said.

The former Geordie Shore star said that she wants to be single for a year and ‘fall in love with herself’ as she approaches her 30th birthday.

‘I just need to have that time on my own where I’m not worried about anyone else. I want to be really selfish for one year!’ she explained. 

However, she revealed that the I’m A Celeb cast are all planning a reunion in Melbourne soon.  

On Friday last week, Charlotte jetted to Australia, presumably to reunite with Ryan for Valentine’s Day.

However, she was seen enjoying a cocktail with YouTuber Tanya Hennessy instead, and Ryan was nowhere to be seen.  

She also saw campmate Miguel Maestre and his family in Sydney’s Manly on Saturday.

Charlotte previously told OK! magazine that Ryan had a special ‘dream date’ – whale watching in Port Stephens – organised for their Valentine’s Day reunion.

She also told the publication she wanted to marry Ryan and start a family with him. 

‘I want to marry him and have his babies!’ she gushed.  

Meanwhile, Ryan said he was excited to see Charlotte while she was in Australia.

‘I just want her all to myself,’ he said.

Charlotte was spotted out and about in Sydney on Thursday, showing off her trim figure in a pair of tight white trousers and an orange crop top. 

She teamed the look with high heels and a Louis Vuitton handbag. 

At one point, the brunette took selfies on her phone. 

Charlotte and ex-boyfriend Joshua Ritchie, 25, announced their split in November, after two years together.

On I’m A Celebrity last month, Charlotte opened up about their relationship and said it was ‘all wrong.’

‘He wouldn’t even hold me hand. There was no, like, affection, [he] would never kiss with tongues,’ Charlotte told fellow campmates Myf Warhurst and Tanya Hennessy.

She continued: ‘It would be lucky if we kissed once a day. You know in bed, we’ve never spooned.’ Myf called the lack of affection a ‘deal breaker.’  

‘There was a lot of pressure on us. There was a lot of arguments,’ Charlotte said.

The British reality star revealed she doesn’t miss Joshua, because he showed his ‘true colours.’ 

‘I’m not sad about the breakup, I’m really not. I feel in such a better place and I’m actually like, kind of glad it happened,’ Charlotte said.

While she originally ‘begged’ Joshua to come back after their November breakup, Charlotte’s mother offered her the best advice.

‘That’s when me mam said, “You need a few months on your own. Just learn to love yourself. Not rely on someone else”.’ 

Ryan meanwhile rose to fame on Married At First Sight back in 2018 and ‘tied the knot’ with Davina Rankin, but the pair were embroiled in a ‘cheating’ scandal on the show.
