Charlotte Crosby’s solo sex scene axed: Geordie Shore cut star’s saucy moment as it was deemed too graphic for the debaucherous show

She appeared on twelve seasons of the famously raucous show, earning herself a party-girl reputation.
But Charlotte Crosby has now revealed that Geordie Shore once axed a very saucy scene of hers – as it was deemed too graphic for television.
Speaking to The Sun on Wednesday, the 28-year-old admitted she was once filmed testing out sex toys for the show, but producers felt it was ‘too far’ – even for the notoriously wild MTV series.
While the show is known for its racy and often booze-fuelled content, Charlotte admitted that there were some scenes branded too graphic to air.
She began: ‘I’ve pretty much done it all… some of it hasn’t even been shown what I did.’
Recalling a time she filmed herself trying out sex toys for size, she went on: ‘The girls wouldn’t do it on Geordie Shore, so I just did it alone, but it wasn’t shown, I think it was just too far.’
In her usually shocking style, she then added with a laugh: ‘Geordie Shore does not want butt plugs!’
Despite documenting most of her life on the MTV series, Charlotte did admit she did sometimes feel ‘uncomfortable’ during filming if cameras caught her at a time she was make-up free or more vulnerable.
Charlotte shot to fame as an original member of the Geordie Shore cast in 2011, but quit in June 2016 after filming alongside ex Gaz Beadle became too much to bear.
She has since gone on to star on Celebrity Big Brother and Ex On The Beach, before launching her own reality series – The Charlotte Show – last month.
Speaking about the programme recently, which Charlotte is obviously extremely proud of, she said on This Morning: ‘The show is literally just my real life.
‘So it’s home with my family friends, work, crazy nights out just my whole life. It’s just so real.’
Explaining she wanted to show a ‘different side’ of herself, away from her party-girl reputation, she went on: ‘Geordie Shore we all go out every night, we all work for Anna, but that’s not our real lives. BB you’re put in a house, it’s a social experiment.
‘But this is my real life, my real friends, my real family. I feel like fans have probably seen it all before so there’s nothing I can do to shock fans.
‘They’re gonna love it as they’re gonna see more of my life and more than ever before.’
