Cheap body glitter sold on eBay is being urgently recalled because it’s made with dangerously high levels of a chemical that can inflame yours lungs.
Pallets of silver glitter, sold under the brand name Saffron, were found to contain fifty times the legal amount of the substance antimony.
If inhaled, even in tiny dust particles, the chemical can irritate the lungs and make it difficult to breathe.

Antimony causes the tiny air sacs in the lungs, called alveoli, to become inflamed, preventing oxygen from passing through into the bloodstream.
Long-term exposure to the chemical can even cause heart problems, in more serious cases.
European guidelines state cosmetic products should not contain any more than 0.5mg/kg of antimony.
But the 4.5g pots were found to contain 24.7mg/kg. The recall was announced by the European Commission.

A similar product in pink sold under the brand Beauty Woman (shown) is also being recalled because it contains 29.7mg/kg of antimony
The products have since been removed by the online retailer after being contacted by MailOnline.
An eBay spokesperson said: ‘These listings have been removed and the sellers informed.
‘The safety of customers is our number one priority and we work closely with bodies such as Trading Standards to ensure listings sold on our marketplace comply with the law.’
The Chinese-made product – popular with festival goers – is advertised as being safe to use all over the body, including on the eyes, lips and cheeks.
The make-up is sold in various other colours, but it’s only the silver version which has been affected by the recall.
A similar product in pink sold under the brand Beauty Woman is also being recalled because it contains 29.7mg/kg of antimony.
Both products come in a black plastic container with a clear cap.
