Famed celebrity chef Kate McAloon has gained a reputation for being sought after to dish up cuisine to Hollywood’s top celebrities.

Renowned for her healthy, delicious meals chef Kate has become a go-to for creating food with amazing flavours with nutritious value. 

Chef Kate shared with Daily Mail Australia insight into eating like a star and included the number one secret she stands by to keep her elite clientele in fine form. 

‘My number one secret to keeping celebrities looking great,’ she said, ‘is by adding flavour without adding calories.’

Chef Kate’s passion for healthy, tasty food using organic ingredients is an attribute reflected through her success.  

She adds flavour in a range of ways but for extra taste and vitality, chef Kate includes a few drops of infused oils into her cooking for a deeper level of flavour and nutrition. 

‘It makes a meal tastes great,’ she said. ‘You will feel more satisfied and feel less inclined to snack after a meal.’

Throughout each of her top five tips, the oils can be utilised in different ways including the top pointer – be sure to drink at least eight glasses of water per day.

To give the water some extra flavour and vitality she suggests adding a few drops of culinary citrus essential oils.

She enjoys sourcing the freshest ingredients at Farmers Markets and incorporates ‘super foods’, medicinal herbs as well incoperates the oils into her cooking.

Her second tip recommends is a fundamental idea for every meal made in the kitchen – eat high protein, low carb food.

Chef Kate McAloon’s top five tips to eating like a star 

1.   Drink at least eight glasses of water each day 

2.  Eat high protein, low carb meals

3.  Limit the amount of added sugar in your daily diet 

4.  Set a table with beautiful plate ware and flowers 

5.  Eat recipes from chef Kate’s cook book The Flavour of Joy

She says it is vitally important to limit the amount of added sugar in your daily diet. 

Chef Kate believes another key pointer to stand by includes setting the table with beautiful plates and flowers. 

The oils can be utilised here to diffuse your favourite scents to set the mood, and ‘feel like a star.’

She boasts many of her top recipes are in her cookbook The Flavour of Joy  

In the book she includs stories to inspire, amuse, and uplift, as well as delicious, healthy recipes, tips, a few of her more memorable kitchen mishap stories, and some of her celebrity clients’ favourite dishes.
