He’s gone all hipster! Celebrity chef Manu Feildel shows off his growing beard as he sips on a kombucha drink while shopping at his local Bunnings and Woolworths

He embarked on a weight loss journey earlier this year in a bid to become healthier.

And it seems Manu Feildel has kept up with his health journey as he was spotted outside Maroubra Woolworths sipping on a kombucha drink after buying some groceries.

The TV personality and celebrity chef cut a casual figure with a full beard as he showed a glimpse of his arm tattoo in a light blue T-shirt and matching loafers.

He completed the relaxed look with olive cargo shorts and a fedora.

In April Manu lost 10kg and gained around 2.5kg of muscle following an intense, 12-week diet and exercise challenge in April.

Taking to Instagram at the time, he shared a photo of himself alongside the caption: ‘This is 2.5kg of fat and I can’t believe I’ve lost four of these in 12 weeks!’

He also personally thanked body transformation coaches James and Emilie Brabon for helping him drop the kilos.

During an interview on Channel Seven’s Sunrise, Manu spoke at length about his health and fitness journey over the past three months.

‘I started with an eight-week challenge and I pushed it to a 12-week challenge, because I’ve started going to the gym with those guys [James and Emilie]. They’re absolutely fantastic!’ he said.

‘The diet is the hardest part – there’s no booze, no carbs and I’m training five-to-six times a week.’

‘The booze is fine, I got rid of it easily, but [changing] the food has been terrible,’ he said, adding that the most difficult part was avoiding rich, creamy sauces.

Manu will return to our screens next year for My Kitchen Rules, and new show Plate Of Origin alongside MasterChef judges Gary Mehigan and Matt Preston.
