Chelsea Clinton enjoyed a fashionable night out on Tuesday, attending a star-studded dinner for designer Alice + Olivia.

The 39-year-old smiled for photographers at the Female Empowerment dinner, which was co-hosted by Alice + Olivia’s Stacey Bendet, 41, and heiress Nicky Hilton, 36.

Taking a break from mom duties for her three young children, Chelsea dressed up for the event in a pair of cropped dark jeans, a black jacket, and a colorful T-shirt from the newly-launched collection.

Chelsea seemed to be enjoying the fun night on the town at Zero Bond, a private membership club inspired by similar ones in London that’s set to open this April.

She kept it polished but casual in a pair of dark jeans that were cropped just above her ankles, pairing them with a new Alice + Olivia T-shirt that says ‘POWER’ four times in different colors and sequins across the front.

She finished off with a black jacket, a black shoulder bag, black booties, and minimal makeup.

Meanwhile, Nicky was a bit more dressy in a light orange dress and nude heels, which served as a neutral foundation for her colorful striped kimono — a $595 design from the new collection, which reads ‘Lift You Higher’ on the back.

Nicky was doing hosting duties for the night, sharing the charge with Stacey and London-based artist Lakwena.

Lakwena teamed up with Stacey on the new  Alice + Olivia x Lakwena collection, which ‘aims to advance the artist’s bold messages of empowerment in celebration of International Women’s Day 2020 (‪March 8) and Women’s History Month.’

The collection includes a ball gown skirt, reversible kimono, and several T-shirts all printed with the artist’s affirmations in bright colors.

‘I love the positivity and graphic beauty of Lakwena’s artwork,’ Stacey said in a press release. ‘Each of her works are visual symbols of strength and optimism!’

What’s more, proceeds from sales of the collection will benefit LifeWay Network, an organization that fights sex trafficking. It hits the brand’s website March 1.

Other guests who turned up to the Female Empowerment Dinner included Ruby Aldridge, Zac Posen, Gigi Burris, Jenny Mollen, Alexi Meyers, Annalynne McCord, Cipriana Quann, and TK Wonder.

While a few photos from the seated part of the dinner were released, none show Chelsea or her seatmates.

The former first daughter and children’s book author — who is mother to five-year-old Charlotte, three-year-old Aiden, and seven-month-old Jasper — had been busy on Twitter just before the dinner on Tuesday.

Chelsea was clearly not a fan of the comment.

‘February 25th, 2020: The day I wished Rush Limbaugh had stuck to comparing me to a dog. Much better than his peddling #fakenews about coronavirus #COVIDー19 to his millions of listeners.’

Chelsea was referring to two desperate times, in the ’90s, that the radio commentator compared a then-teenage Chelsea to a dog.

According to Snopes, the first time was uttered to a journalism, who published in in an October 1993 newspaper column.

‘Everyone knows the Clintons have a cat. Socks is the White House cat. But did you know there is also a White House dog?” And he puts up a picture of Chelsea Clinton. Chelsea Clinton is 13 years old,’ the journalist wrote.

Snopes also tracked down a video of the second time he made such a comment on TV in November 1992.

He said, ‘Let’s see who is the cute kid in the White House’ before showing another picture of a dog.

He later apologized and insisted it was a mix-up.
