Chelsea Clinton was spotted out in New York City this week, dressed for the city’s warm temps.
The 38-year-old former first daughter, who usually keeps a low profile, was photographed walking down a sidewalk in Manhattan by herself on Wednesday afternoon.
She dressed up for a meeting in the Rockefeller Center, and was seen walking around the city in the sunshine with her iPhone in hand.
Enjoying the weather: Chelsea Clinton was photographed out in New York City on Wednesday
Busy bee: The 38-year-old went to a meeting at One Rockefeller Plaza and was seen walking down the sidewalk
Favorites: She was wearing her go-to round-toe nude pumps, which she appears to have had re-heeled and re-soled recently
Improvement: In June 2017, Chelsea was seen wearing the same shoes, but on this occasion they looked very beat up and scratched, with chunks of patent material missing from the heel
Chelsea wore a sleeveless red fit-and-flare dress, which fell just above her knees, accessorizing with a black leather carry-all that was slung over her shoulder.
She also had a Burberry trench hanging from one arm, apparently having taken it off, no doubt in light of the balmy weather, which saw temperatures in New York reach the high 80s on Wednesday.
The mother-of-two was also wearing her trusty nude heels, which she is frequently photographed wearing.
While in the past they have seen a little worse for wear, Chelsea appears to have either taken them to a cobbler to get them resoled, or perhaps even bought a new pair of the same shoes.
The classic nude, round-toe style is clearly a favorite, perhaps because a nude pump goes with nearly anything.
Fit-and-flare! The former first daughter wore a knee-length red dress with no sleeves
Rising temps: She carried her things in a black leather tote and slung her Burberry trench over her arm when the weather got too hot
On the go: She was seen holding her cell phone and walking by a construction site
Fashion experts also typically suggest finding a shade that closely resembles the wearer’s skin tone, which has the effect of making the legs appear longer.
Chelsea seemed unaware of the cameras and looked serious as she walked past a construction site on her way home from a meeting at One Rockefeller Plaza.
At home, she awaited the arrival of her parents, Bill and Hillary Clinton, who turned up that evening for a short visit.
The couple were escorted by Secret Service, who drove up to Chelsea’s building and let them out.
They, too, were dressed up: the former President, flanked by guards, looked polished in a blue suit as he jumped over a puddle and waved at admirers on the sidewalk.
Hillary, meanwhile, was dressed in blue, too. She wore a pair of blue slacks, a long-sleeve blue coat, low blue heels, and a matching blue scarf.
Visit: Later that day, she welcomed a visit from her parents at home
Grandma time! Her mother, Hillary Clinton, wore all-blue and was seen getting out of a Secret Service vehicle and walking inside
Here comes grandpa! Former President Bill Clinton, meanwhile, appeared to coordinate with his wife by wearing all blue, too
On his way: After hopping over a peddle, he walked with some pep in his step to get inside
Fun: He wore a smile on his face as he went in for a 45-minute-long visit with his grandchildren
The former first couple stayed inside for about 45 minutes visiting with Chelsea, her husband Marc, and their two children: three-year-old Charlotte, and one-year-old Aiden (who turns two in June).
Chelsea is also celebrating a recent career success. Last year, she published a children’s book called She Persisted: 13 American Women Who Changed The World.
This March, she published a companion book called She Persisted Around the World: 13 Women Who Changed History.
And now the Bay Area Children’s Theatre is turning her books into a show, called She Persisted, the Musical.
According to the Mercury News, the stage adaption will open at BACT’s Berkeley Theatre Center Feb. 2, 2019, after which it will move on to San Francisco and Sunnyvale.
