Cher, 76, shows off her sensational figure in a plunging latex one-piece as she closes the Balmain runway show during Paris Fashion Week
Cher looked nothing short of sensational as she closed the Balmain runway show during Paris Fashion Week in France on Wednesday.
The star, 76, looked amazing in a futuristic latex one-piece that featured a plunging neckline and matching gloves. The singer wowed as she strutted her stuff in front of the star-studded crowd in a pair of platform black leather boots.
Cher styled her long dark tresses in luxurious waves as they cascaded past her bust from a center parting. The hitmaker took to the catwalk boasting a bold metallic eyeshadow and a swipe of glossy red lipstick.
She was joined on the runway by designer Olivier Rousteing, 36, who wore a brown shirt which he teamed with a pair of beige trousers and platform shoes. The pair beamed for the audience as they hugged one another and took in the incredible atmosphere.
‘Just had best time on stage, felt great,’ Cher tweeted shortly after the show. Balmain said it was celebrating the best in food, music and fashion within the pop-up village replete with stands – in western Paris´ Jean-Bouin stadium – more used to hosting rugby matches than spandex suits. Some 10,000 tickets were made available for the general public provided they made a charity donation.
The appearance comes after Cher cheekily replied to a tweet that compared her to pop star Dua Lipa, who is nearly half a century younger than she is.
A fan on Twitter wrote: ‘Dua Lipa, the Cher of our generation,’ over a clip of Dua (pictured) bearing a distinct physical resemblance to the older pop act.
In response to the remark, Cher, who celebrated her 76th birthday in May, wrote: ‘How many yrs are in a generation’ with a thinking emoji.
This summer it emerged Cher had collaborated on her own fashion line with Versace, which has of course been named Chersace.
