Cheryl’s Madame Tussauds waxwork is taken off display

She is currently filming The Greatest Dancer for BBC One where she will reprise her role as a dance captain.

And Cheryl Cole’s waxwork at London’s Madame Tussauds will not be taking centre stage as the figurine had been removed from the attraction and placed in the archives.

The 36-year-old’s statue, which was first introduced to the world famous museum for life-size wax replicas in 2010, is taking a break from the limelight due to bosses wanting ‘figures to best represent what our visitors want to see.’

Taking a break: Cheryl Cole’s waxwork at London’s Madame Tussauds will not be taking centre stage as the figurine had been removed from the attraction and placed in the archives.

A representative from the attraction told The Sun: ‘Our Cheryl figure is currently being stored in the London archives.

‘This isn’t uncommon for our figures, as from time to time we do change who we have in the attraction.

‘We are constantly reviewing our collection of figures to best represent what our visitors want to see.’

Meanwhile, on Thursday, Cheryl shared a sultry snap from backstage of the second series of The Greatest Dancer where she is joined by a new co-star – Love Island’s Curtis Pritchard.

Cheryl teased newcomer Curtis as she posted a sizzling photo during filming for the show.

The former Girls Aloud singer posed in a pair of skin tight pink leather trousers teamed with glam fluffy heels and layered with a smart jacket belted at her trim waist.

With a full face of makeup and tumbling waves in her hair, Cheryl was ready for her closeup, but in the background of the snap Curtis was still busy in the makeup chair.

During an interview with Radio One, Cheryl revealed that she felt ready to speak about her issues when her responsibilities shifted due the arrival of two-year-old Bear.

The singer admitted that she ‘struggled in silence’ with the condition for ‘so long’ and felt that she couldn’t even open up to her close friends and family.

However she admitted that she now no longer lets unkind words get to her because they don’t know her as a person, only her public image.

The star also teased potential new music but confessed that she wants to see how her new single Let You does before announcing anything.

‘I’ve got material. I just want to see how the singles land and if people are enjoying the music and maybe do some intimate gigs and stuff first.’
