A Chicago teen who was shot in the chest failed to seek medical treatment until the following day because he was too intoxicated to remember the life-threatening incident.

Police said a 19-year-old man, whose name has not yet been released, was shot around 11:30pm Monday.

He finally sought treatment at the Roseland Community Hospital around 5pm Tuesday.

Roseland, located on 45 West 111th Street, has an average Google rating of 1.8.

The shooting victim told authorities Tuesday he was too drunk the night he was shot in the chest to realize what had happened to him.

This shooting occurred on the West Side.

Police have not released further information on the man’s condition nor the suspect responsible.
