Horror as a nine-year-old child is left with ‘serious injuries’ after a dingo attack

A nine-year-old child has been left with serious injuries after being attacked by a dingo on Fraser Island in Queensland.
The young boy is believed to have suffered four puncture wounds to his hands and legs after being bitten by the dingo at around 9.30am on Thursday in Orchid Beach.
The Queensland Ambulance Service confirmed paramedics were called to the scene.

First responders issued first aid onto the young child but the bite wounds have since been considered minor, the Queensland Environment department tweeted.
Rangers are now investigating the incident.
