New footage shows soldiers from China’s People’s Liberation Army shooting apples off each others heads as part of a training exercise.

The soldiers were practicing their shooting skills some 65 feet away from their targets who happened to be their colleagues. 

According to the instructor in the clip, the activity was aiming to improve their accuracy.

In the video, three soldiers can be seen sat down crossed legged with apples on their heads. 

Around 65 feet away, three other soldiers can be seen aiming their guns at the apples.

The instructor says in the video that the aim of the exercise is to improve accuracy as well as strengthen trust in each other.

Two of the soldiers were successful at shooting the apples off their collagues’ heads however the third soldier was unsuccessful, according to dwnews.
