A zookeeper is seen yelling at a seal in an enclosure at a national forest park in east China
The 10-second clip was sent by a resident living in Yixing of Jiangsu Province who visited the touristy Longbei Mountain National Forest Park recently, according to social medica user, ‘Qinlin Eryue’.
The footage shows a zoo keeper trying to call a seal to him inside enclosure before kicking it in the snout.
The seal, appeared to be scared, went back into the water.
‘Again!’ the trainer repeated.
The man pointed fingers at the seal and yelled: ‘Do you want to die?’
The social media post claimed the seal did not obey commands during a performance and was punished.

The clip, which has been viewed over 8,000 times, caused fury among the web users on Weibo, a Chinese social media site.
‘Ban all the animal shows!’ said ‘houpo-hope’.
‘Free the seal! Free the animals!’ commented ‘yuwenlong’.
Jason Baker, vice president of PETA Asia commented that sensitive and intelligent animals like seals ‘often suffer abuses and are deprived of food to force them to perform’.
‘When you go to such shows, regardless if it’s China or elsewhere in the world, your money supports this abuse,’ he added.
