Chris Hemsworth and Cate Blanchett grace Vogue cover

They’re two of Australia’s most successful acting exports.

And on Sunday, Vogue Australia unveiled their November issue with Chris Hemsworth, 34, and Cate Blanchett, 48 gracing the cover together.

Although the pair act on opposing sides as Hela and Thor in the new Ragnarok blockbuster, the actors appeared comfortable in each other’s company in their magazine spread.

The cover shot saw Chris wearing a white t-shirt and over-shirt whilst sitting in a pool.

Staring directly down the camera lens, the Australian hunk sported well groomed facial hair and drew attention to his deep-set blue eyes.

Cate on the other hand was seen lying on the pool’s edge.

Dressed in a graphic t-shirt with a sheer feminine dress over the top, the mum-of-four showcased her trim physique and ethereal beauty.

Keeping to the shades of white, the next shot saw the icons pose together in a garden.

With Chris wearing a cream shirt and white trousers, Cate sported designer drop pants that were held together with a tie.

Speaking to the publication, Chris revealed he was incredibly nervous to meet and act alongside the two-time Oscar winner.

‘Especially the lead-up to meeting her, I was like: “Okay, this is Cate Blanchett”…My nerves were certainly more elevated than usual,’ he said.

Nervous to meet Cate: 'No matter how many time I tell myself: "I'm the lead, I'm the number one on the call sheet", it still feels like I shouldn't be; it feels like I've cheated somehow'

A delight: 'But then she comes in and immediately I thought: "Oh great, she is wonderful and normal and easy to get along with, and hilarious and has a great sense of humour and all of that'
