But Chris Hemsworth was powerless when he was smashed in the back of the head by an enormous wave in a surfing accident, in Canada.
Shared on social media on Monday, the eye-popping photograph captured the moment the 34-year-old actor was knocked flying off his surfboard into the ocean.

Mid air, the Australian hunk braced himself for the dramatic fall when he was seen putting his arms out in the snap.
Chris divulged the details of the accident on social media as he revealed he was ‘smashed in the back of the head’ and dragged across the reef.
The actor laughed off the accident when he joked he was ‘trying out a new move’ as he tore up the waves but he gave his fans a word of warning to not try it out.

He accompanied the photos with the caption: ‘Trying out a new move here, its called “get smashed in the back of the head by the lip and dusted along the reef”. It’s so much fun, don’t try it. Cheers for taking me along for the ride!’ (sic)
It seems the Thor hunk was uninjured following the fall during his surfing session.
Chris was making the most of his free time away from daddy duties and his busy filming schedule in recent days.

The Hollywood star is best known for his titular role in the Thor franchise where he plays the superhero in the 2011, 2013 and 2017 flicks.
Chris is happily married to Elsa and the pair share three beautiful children: India Rose, aged five, as well as twins Tristan and Sasha.
The Chris and Elsa love story begins in early 2010 when they started dating and the couple went on to tie the knot over the festive season at Christmas.
