A former porn star, a sex-crazed fashion designer and a 7ft 3in college student: Chris Lilley’s latest characters are revealed in a hilarious trailer for his Netflix show Lunatics
He’s the Australian funnyman behind comedy classics like Summer Heights High and Ja’mie: Private School Girl.
And Chris Lilley is back playing another series of lovable oddball characters in his latest 10-part offering, Lunatics, which airs on Netflix next Friday.
In a hilarious trailer released on Thursday, the 44-year-old transformed into six bizarre roles ranging from an ex-porn star turned hoarder to a sex-crazed designer and a 7ft 3in Youtuber.

They include Keith Dick, a fashion retail veteran who has a ‘sexuality disorder’ who struggles with his lust for a cash register in his shop.
Joyce is an eccentric ex-porn star turned recluse who obsessively collects everything from spoons to scrunchies while facing being evicted from her home by the council.
In the trailer, Joyce’s friend explains that she went down a ‘dark path’ in her youth and became Australia’s most famous porn star.
Next up is Becky, a 7ft 3in Youtuber and university freshman starting at an American college with her twin sister and dealing with life with massive legs.

Meanwhile, Gavin is a 12-year-old boy and future earl of an English country estate who sets up an explicitly-named Instagram account showing him doing pranks.
Following him is Quentin, a 29-year-old real estate agent with a ‘massive a**’ who is set to inherit the family business but dreams of being a world-renowned DJ and street artist.
Finally we’re introduced to Jana, a lesbian pet psychic to the stars who conducts her business from her South African home.

The mystic, who has a penchant for loud clothing and bold wigs, struggles with an unrequited love for her personal assistant.
The comedy documentary series will ‘examine the lives of six extraordinary individuals and will explore the idea that people are not what they seem at first’.
The series, which was filmed on the Gold Coast between March and June last year, is expected to inject up to $6.35 million into the local economy.

Chris is known for hilarious comedy shows, including Summer Heights High, Angry Boys, Ja’mie: Private School Girl and Jonah from Tonga.
Last year, Jonah From Tonga was axed from New Zealand indigenous broadcaster Maori Television after the board deemed it to be culturally inappropriate.
He was last seen on screen in his 2014 show, Jonah from Tonga. Lunatics will be available on Netflix on April 19.
