Chrishell Stause looks sensational in striking snaps from new Lipsy collection

Chrishell Stause has revealed she first met partner G Flip wearing a ‘cheap Halloween skeleton dress’ and vows she will never get rid of the much-loved item.

The Selling Sunset star, 41, says she ‘treasures’ pieces of clothing in her wardrobe that hold sentimental value, such as the fancy dress costume she wore the night she met the Australian singer, 28, who she’s been dating since May 2021.

Reflecting on her glamorous looks, Chrishell admits the outfits she wore during the very first season of the Netflix show bring back the fondest memories, even if ‘the narrative often gets twisted’ when filming the reality series.

The former soap actress, who stuns in a new photoshoot for her Spring/Summer Lipsy collection, said her memories from Selling Sunset are mainly positive.

She explained: ‘I have some designer pieces I’ve splurged on over the years, but I treasure things with memories attached to them. One thing that comes to mind is a cheap Halloween skeleton dress that I met my partner in. I’ll never get rid of it.

‘I guess some of the dresses I wore on the very first season of Selling Sunset.

‘The show has been hugely poignant as it was the start of this wild journey.

‘I remember being so nervous about what was in store for me but on the whole, it has been an amazing experience that has opened up a lot of doors for me.

‘Sometimes the narrative gets twisted, but I’ve made some amazing friends and memories along the way.’

Chrishell started dating nonbinary singer G Flip just five months after the end of her relationship with co-star and Oppenheim boss Jason.

The pair fell in love during the filming of Selling Sunset but their romance was short-lived after Chrishell wanted to start a family with Jason, and he remained reluctant to commit.

Viewers of the Netflix series saw Chrishell’s world fall apart when her ex-husband actor Justin Hartley filed for divorce just 45 minutes after telling her their marriage was over.

She was left shocked and devastated by his actions after he suddenly ended their two-year marriage, but she later found her strength, moving into her first property and regaining her independence.

In a recent interview with Vogue Australia, G Flip revealed that they will appear on a few episodes of Selling Sunset’s sixth season but won’t be starring in it regularly alongside their girlfriend.

‘It’s just a minor cameo. It’s not like me and Chrishell taking on the Sunset Strip. It’s going to be cute,’ she clarified.

G Flip added they were never keen on being involved in Chrishell’s reality TV career for fear of homophobic reactions; however decided by not taking part at all they would be letting the haters win.

They explained: ‘I was always never going to be a part of it and then a few days before we filmed the first scene that I was in, me and Chrishell just had a conversation about it.

‘What we realised is that we cop so much hate being together and if I was in any part of the TV show that we were going to cop that so much more.

‘Then we thought about it and talked about it and [were] like, “Then they win. The people that f**king hate us and who are homophobic and don’t believe there are other genders — they kind of win.”‘

In the couple’s joint profile with the publication, Chrishell said that an open mind and willingness to try new things saw their love bloom.

‘There is no age where you know it all, because you’re always evolving. This is the perfect example of a relationship a few years ago I wouldn’t have thought was possible,’ she said.

Chrishell recently revealed the cast and crew have already wrapped the sixth season – streaming ‘early 2023’ on Netflix – and they’ve already started filming season seven.

‘We’ve got some content for you guys coming very soon,’ Stause confirmed to ET before teasing: ‘We all need therapy.’

However, one day earlier The Oppenheim Group realtor took to Instagram to hit out at the show’s producers.

She explained: ‘The way reality TV producers manipulate things to create a narrative. Sucks to not be able to be proud of what you’re working on.’

Chrishell tagged Done and Done Productions, which creates Selling Sunset, and posted a meme captioned: ‘Me collecting receipts for when the time comes @done_and_done_productions or scrap this fake narrative [because] don’t forget we have voices too. Viewers do not want manufactured drama.’
