‘Remember when you were growing up and you had your own room with all your own stuff in it and then you partner up and you have to share everything and it’s lovely and all you ever wanted,’ Chrissie began.

‘But you look back at having your own room as a child and young adult and you wonder why you took it for granted? Yep. Well, solution: This is ‘my room’. I hide away in here about once a fortnight when I am bone tired from years of 4.30am alarms.

‘And I just need ONE BIG BLOCK OF SLEEP SWEET SLEEP OMG PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THAT’S GOOD AND HOLY,’ the comedian continued.

Chrissie shares three children with partner Chris Saville, sons Kit and Leo, and daughter Peggy.

While the couple are content on remaining unmarried, Chrissie admitted back in December 2016, that her then seven-year-old son Leo voiced his desire for them to wed.

She told Today Extra at the time of their son’s reasoning: ‘Because he goes to a school where all the parents are married. But me and my fella never got around to it.’
