Chrissy Teigen reveals she worked with Meghan Markle briefly on Deal or No Deal

Chrissy Teigen has revealed that Meghan Markle was ‘lovely’ to work with when the pair was on Deal or No Deal together.

During an interview with Mail On Sunday, the 32-year-old cookbook author and model recalled how she once featured as briefcase model alongside Meghan, now 37, on the hit game show back in 2006.

‘I am especially a fan of Meghan. I was on Deal or No Deal with her and she was lovely,’ Chrissy said.

Exciting: The mom-of-two said she is a huge fan of the Duchess of Sussex, 37, and described her as ‘lovely’ on the show

Meghan then went on to earn her breakout role in Suits and moved on from holding a briefcase for the game show.

Although it sounds like Chrissy might have more information on the Duchess of Sussex, she refused to reveal any other details about that time in her career.

‘Now everyone asks me what she was like and I say, “Sorry, no dirt. She’s gorgeous,’ Chrissy said.

The two women appear to have more in common besides sharing a past employer. Chrissy, who published her second book entitled Cravings: Hungry for More, expressed her excitement for Meghan’s own skills in the kitchen.

‘I love the freshness she brings, and her cookbook Together [recipes from women affected by the Grenfell Tower fire] is my only pre-order of the year,’ the mom-of-two said.

‘It’s beautifully done and you can tell how important it is to her. You see how she interacts with people and gets down to eye level with kids.’

This conversation came about when Chrissy admitted to being jealous of the United Kingdom for its ‘first family’ compared to the current residents in the White House.

‘Your first family are the opposite of ours: we have reality TV stars and you have royals,’ Chrissy said.

It comes as no surprise that Chrissy is largely critical of Donald Trump and has even been blocked on Twitter by the president.

But besides using her Twitter account to criticize American politics, Chrissy has also used it to comment on stories dominating the news cycle — including when Meghan’s father, Thomas Markle, wouldn’t stop talking about his estranged relationship with his daughter.

Chrissy shared two DailyMail.com stories about the father-daughter duos relationship in a tweet in July.

‘This guy…this guy sucks. what is wrong with him? let your daughter be happy, please. this is embarrassing,’ she wrote after Thomas claimed his daughter cut ties with him.
