Cindy Crawford is back in a very big way (though she never went anywhere, really).
The 57-year-old glamazon model has landed on the covered cover of Vanity Fair magazine’s Fashion Issue. The original portfolio was from Vanity Fair Italy, France, and Spain.
The issue was dedicated to the best supermodels from the 1990s era and was photographed by Luigi and Iango. Also featured were Carla Bruni, Claudia Schiffer, Kristen McMenamy, Christy Turlington, Naomi Campbell, Shalom Harlow and others.
The siren looked half her age in a very low cut Versace gown that made the most of her perky cleavage.
The mother of two – she has Kaia and Presley with husband Rande Gerber – is promoting her new docuseries The Supermodels.
WOWZA! Cindy Crawford is back in a very big way (though she never went anywhere, really). The 57-year-old glamazon model has landed on the covered cover of US Vanity Fair magazine’s Fashion Issue
Wayyyy back: It has been almost 30 years since she was solo on the cover of US Vanity Fair
The show stars Cindy as well as Christy Turlington, Naomi Campbell and Linda Evangelista.
On Instagram, Cindy posted the Vanity Fair cover and added, ‘Thank you to this dream team.’
Her daughter Kaia, who also models, added a fire emoji.
Many of her celebrity friends left comments. Rita Wilson shared, ‘Fortissimo!’ while Lisa Rinna wrote, ‘WOW!!!!” and added heart and fire emojis.
Demi Moore, Claudia Schiffer, Sofia Vergara, Linda Evangelista, Helena Christensen, and Elle Macpherson hit the like button.
This comes after the ladies talked about starring in George Michael‘s Freedom music video. Some surprises were revealed.
One was how Christy did not know the words to the song, another was how Cindy though her scenes were sub par.
Christy didn’t know the words before she filmed the music video for the song.
The 54-year-old model stars in the iconic video alongside, and Christy has admitted to having a last-minute panic before the cameras started rolling.
During The Super Models documentary, Christy explained: ‘My very first scene that I shot was where you just see my eyes through, like, this cutout.
‘You see my mouth, then you see my eyes, you see my mouth, you see my eyes.
‘And anytime I dip down it’s because I don’t know the words yet.
‘I’m not that great with lyrics.’

Linda also experienced something similar.
She shared: ‘When I got to the set and they wanted me to lip-sync, I didn’t know the words. I had to learn them very quickly in the trailer while they were doing my hair and make-up.’
On the other hand, Cindy remembers feeling that she had the worst part in the music video.
The 57-year-old model explained: ‘I just remember it being super dark and someone explaining to me that I was going to be in a bathtub. I was like, ‘Really?’
‘I felt like everyone else had a better part than me.’

Meanwhile, Naomi revealed that she negotiated their part in the video during a conversation in a Los Angeles nightclub.
The model recalled: ‘Basically, I’m in a nightclub in Los Angeles, The Roxbury actually on Sunset, and George is there and he comes up to me and he says, ‘So what is it that you guys want?’
‘I said, ‘We want this much money and round-trip Concorde tickets.’ He goes, ‘And that’s it?’ I said, ‘That’s it.”
This comes after Campbell has admitted she was ‘killing’ herself with drugs and alcohol.
She said: ‘If I have people in my life that I love and I see that they need help, of course I’m going to offer my help. I’m there, I’m very loyal to the people that I love.’
