Cindy Crawford and her husband Rande Gerber appeared extremely stressed as they spoke outside their daughter Kaia’s New York City apartment on Thursday.
The 53-year-old supermodel looked shaken as she listened to her husband appear to describe a conversation he had just had with 18-year-old Kaia’s comedian boyfriend, Pete Davidson, 26.
It seemed Rande had been upstairs in the apartment while Cindy was outside and he had then come downstairs to the foyer to speak with her.
A bystander told Dailymail.com that Rande – the co-founder of billion-dollar tequila label Casamigos – was heard saying that Pete had ‘scratched eyes’ and was ‘freaking out.’
It was also reported that Pete was waiting inside a car down the street as the parents talked. Kaia was later seen entering her building after dark.
Kaia is one of the fashion world’s most in-demand young models, while Pete is a Saturday Night Live cast member who has both a troubled past and a long list of famous ex-girlfriends. The high-profile pairbegan dating in October.

Rande – who wore an IV cap and a Casamigos hoodie – appeared on edge by what he had witnessed inside the apartment.
The best friend of George Clooney was very animated as he spoke to Cindy, who was clad in a $1,400 black Moncler jacket.
A bystander told DailyMail.com that Rande was heard saying that his talk ‘wasn’t good’.
At one point, he brought his hands up to his face and widened his eyes, as if to imitate what he had seen.
Cindy stared at her spouse with her agape, appearing to recognize the seriousness of the situation.
Rande was reportedly overhead saying: ‘He’s got scratched out eyes. His face was like scared as if someone or a camera was on him. His eyes are very… and he’s like freaking out.’
The tequila tycoon continued: ‘How in the hell can he… be away… he needs help my God that’s crazy… private rehab, ummm, like in an hour.’
Then the topic went to Kaia, with Rande reportedly saying: ‘I mean he loves her.’

Rande then told Cindy that Pete was nearby, stating: ‘You know he’s over there’.
The supermodel reportedly replied: ‘Is it him over there?’
Later Pete was seen in his silver Lincoln SUV but his face was not photographed.
And separately Kaia was seen walking into the apartment as she covered her face with a water bottle. She was makeup free and had on a dark jacket.
The heated conversation was likely between Pete and Rande.
The next day Cindy was seen alone as she picked up deli food in SoHo. She kept her head down and failed to smile.
There would be plenty for the parents to be concerned about.
At 26, Pete is much older than 18-year-old Kaia, who has become an international supermodel thanks to posing for Vogue and walking for Chanel.
He also has a rocky romance record as he was engaged to Ariana Grande, dated Kate Beckinsale and was linked to Andie MacDowell’s daughter Margaret Qualley, 25, from Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.
The couple talked for several minutes then went in and out of the building many times

Pete has been honest about how he struggles with his mental health and has in the past left very concerning social media posts about not wanting to be around anymore.
In early December a source told Page Six that the parents are not thrilled that Kaia is dating Pete but felt it would end soon.
‘I think they’re just hoping this could all fizzle out,’ a source told the site. ‘[Kaia’s] traveling and working constantly — how serious can [she and Davidson] get?’
And at the time Cindy – who was described as a ‘hands-on parent’ – reportedly felt Kaia was too young to get that serious. Also, she had the right support. ‘Kaia can be slightly naive. But she’s a smart girl with a good head on her shoulders and a family who watches out for her,’ said the insider.

There is also talk about Pete possibly going to rehab this month.
Last week he joined the Weekend Update desk for what was supposed to be a segment on Donald Trump’s impeachment, but he really spoke out about his relationship with Gerber.
The comedian told Weekend Update host Colin Jost that he doesn’t actually know anything about the impeachment, since he’s still trying to finish The Irishman, joking that he will need the anti-aging technology they use in the movie before he finishes it.
Jost then asked if he was dating anybody, and while he didn’t mention Kaia by name, he vented about how people hate him for dating famous women, while also hinting at a rehab stint over the holidays.
When Jost asked if Davidson was dating anyone, he said, ‘Yeah, it’s not fair, Colin. You get to date a famous woman and everyone’s delighted,’ referring to his relationship with Scarlett Johansson.
‘But when I do it, the world wants to punch me in the throat,’ Davidson added, referring to his relationship with Gerber, and past relationships with Ariana and Kate.

‘If I’m your type of guy that your daughter or mother is into, then trust me, I’m the best case scenario. There are a million guys who look like me and I’m the only one who has a job,’ Davidson joked.
He joked, ‘It’s like me, or Tyga,’ referring to the rapper and ex-boyfriend of Kylie Jenner, before adding that he, ‘can’t believe you let me do this during the Eddie Murphy episode.’
‘So many fans being reminded why they stopped watching,’ he joked, as Jost said a lot of people remember him for being the youngest cast member to join SNL since Eddie Murphy, joining in 2014 at the age of 20.
He said that he wishes fans wouldn’t because it’s, ‘mean to Eddie,’ adding there was a time when Eddie was in the number 1 movie and number 1 show, while also having the number 1 song at the same time.

Rehab: When asked what he’s doing for the holidays, Davidson hinted at a rehab stint, without saying it outright
‘I don’t think there was an episode where I was in a live sketch and a video,’ Davidson joked, while adding that Jost is, ‘rubbing elbows with the Avengers, elbows at least.’
Davidson continues his self-deprecating humor by saying when he’s off the show, he’s just going to be waiting for, ‘Tosh to retire.’
‘Hey kids, wanna see a fat kid mess up the national anthem?’ Davidson joked, before a Pete.0 logo was shown as Davidson adding, ‘Sorry, I don’t like that guy.’
When asked what he’s doing for the holidays, Davidson hinted at a rehab stint, without saying it outright.
‘Oh I’m going on a little ‘vacation,’ where insurance pays for some of it, and they take your phone and shoelaces and you have roommates but it still costs 100 grand?’
Jost said he wanted Davidson to know that a lot of people care about him, and he tries to prove it by reading the first tweet he sees and guessing it will be a positive one.

Jost added that people make fun of him a lot too and Davidson says that’s nonsense because he’s the ‘sweetest man I’ve ever met,’ adding the only way he can picture him having sex is missionary, but he pictures it a lot.
