They’ve barely had a moment to rest on the hectic promotional trail for their new film, Women Talking.
Yet Claire Foy and Jessie Buckley seemed full of energy as they attended the British premiere on Wednesday during the BFI London Film Festival.
The co-stars were in high spirits and could be seen embracing and collapsing in giggles while working the red carpet at the glittering affair.

The Crown actress donned a pair of bejewelled silver heels to boost her modelesque frame and opted for a pair of dazzling chandelier earrings.
Jessie, 32, opted for a vibrant ensemble as she donned a low-cut printed gown with a corset style bodice that accentuated her tiny waist and ample cleavage.

Women Talking tells the story of an isolated religious community in which the women struggle with reconciling their reality with their faith.
Claire plays the character of Salome Friesen in the film while Jessie portrays Mariche Loewen.

In one chilling scene, Claire is seen saying to a group of women: ‘We know that we have not imagined these attacks. We know that we are bruised and terrified,’ before she is dragged away screaming by two men.
Aside from Claire and Jessie, the incredible cast also includes Rooney Mara, Judith Ivey, Frances McDormand, and Ben Whishaw.
The trailer opens up with Mara who stars as Ona, ominously asking: ‘Why does love, the absence of love, the end of love, the need for love… result in so much violence?’

The scene then changes to little girls playing in a field, as Kate Hallett, who stars as Autje, narrates, ‘It was all waiting to happen, before it happened.’
‘You could look back and follow the breadcrumbs along the path that led to violence,’ she continues, as we see a mother hug her daughter.
‘When we look back, it had been everywhere,’ she says, as the camera pans to various shots of the colony.

Frances McDormand, 65, who plays Scarface Janz in the film, then says, ‘It is part of our faith to forgive.’
‘We will be forced to leave the colonies, if we do not forgive these men,’ she adds, while talking to a group of women.
We then hear Mariche, played by Jessie, say, ‘None of you will listen to reason.’
The scene then cuts to Ona, who proclaims: ‘We cannot endure any more violence.’
Agata, played by Judith Ivey, adds: ‘We have been prayed upon like animals. Maybe we should respond like animals’ as a woman beats against a barn door with a sickle.

At the end of the trailer she says: ‘When we liberated ourselves, we will have to ask ourselves who we are.’
Women Talking made its world premiere at the 2022 Telluride Film Festival before screening at TIFF and the New York Film Festival. The film is set to be released in theaters on December 2, 2022 in the States and on January 10 in the UK.
