Claire Foy and Ryan Gosling were leading the star-studded arrivals at this year’s Venice Film Festival on Wednesday.
The 34-year-old Crown star was effortlessly chic in a monochrome striped midi as she joined the 37-year-old actor arriving the Excelsior Hotel.
Claire and Ryan are set to open the star-studded film showcase with their Neil Armstrong biopic First Man, which has already been tipped for awards glory as it tells the tale of the iconic 1969 moon landing.

In First Man Claire plays Neil Armstrong’s first wife Janet Shearon who acts as a pillar of support for the spaceman ahead of the Apollo 11 mission, which is famously known as the moment man first set foot on the moon.

The La La Land star has reunited with the director of that film Damien Chazelle for his role as the iconic astronaut in First Man, with the pair hoping to strike awards glory yet again.
Naomi Watts was also seen arriving at the festival alongside Austrian Oscar-winner Christoph Waltz, as the pair will both feature on this year’s Festival jury.
