That didn’t age well: Estranged husband of Pip Edwards’ PE Nation co-founder Claire Tregoning shows off tattoo of his ex-wife’s name as he goes shirtless in Bondi

Many believe tattooing your partner’s name can inflict a curse on your relationship.

But that didn’t stop P.E Nation co-founder Claire Tregoning’s estranged husband Timothy, who revealed a tattoo of his ex-wife’s name while out and about in Bondi Beach on Friday.

The filmmaker, 40, went shirtless as he visited a beachside take-away shop, revealing his numerous tattoos, including the name ‘Claire’ which is inked next to a love-heart and arrows on his chest.

He was barefoot and completed his look with hot pink shorts, clear-frame sunglasses and a baseball cap.

He also wore an array of jewellery and statement rings, and his nails were painted black.

During the solo outing he was seen smoking a cigarette before climbing into the driver’s seat of his white Mercedes-Benz G-Wagon with what looked to be an acai bowl.

Tim is newly single, after Claire, 42, announced in January that the married couple had parted ways eight months prior.

Claire co-founded luxury activewear brand PE Nation with Sydney socialite Pip Edwards, who recently split from her on-off boyfriend Michael Clarke.

Tim found himself in court in January after he was caught buying a $600 bag of cocaine from a dealer at Bondi Beach.

Waverley Local Court heard he bought the drugs on the same day his now ex-wife told him not to come home.

Despite their split, Claire wrote him a glowing character reference.

He avoided a criminal conviction but was slapped with a good behaviour bond.

Tim and Claire share two children together and kept their break-up under wraps until Claire finally broke her silence in an interview with The Sydney Morning Herald.

‘It is very amicable, we still love each other, we are co-parenting and he remains a great friend,’ she told The Sydney Morning Herald.

‘Things change and that’s just what happened for us, but we are getting through that with a lot of respect and support for each other.’

Rumours emerged last November that the pair had quietly split after they deleted each other from Instagram and stopped posting loved up pictures.

Claire also recently sold her luxury home on Sydney’s north shore for an undisclosed sum.
