Clementine Ford says frisky MAFS bride Melissa is a PREDATOR for pressuring husband Josh to have sex

Outspoken feminist Clementine Ford says frisky Married At First Sight bride Melissa is a PREDATOR for pressuring husband Josh to have sex

Outspoken feminist Clementine Ford has said that ‘sex-obsessed’ Married At First Sight bride Melissa Sheppard is showcasing ‘predatory’ behaviour.

The bride, 41, constantly talks about sex on the show, and in the most recent episode she tells her new husband Josh White, 40,  that he doesn’t meet her expectations of a ‘healthy sex life’.

Long-time fan of the show Clementine took to her Instagram to share her thoughts on the episode, and said she believes it portrays a dangerous message that all men ‘should have’ high sex drives.

She also said that no one, including Josh, should be shamed for not conforming to someone else’s idea of what sex is meant to look like.

‘The woman is VERY overt sexually, and has spoken repeatedly about how she’s up for it and a “freak in the sheets”,’ Clementine said about Melissa.

‘My personal read is that she’s incredibly insecure, especially about being what she thinks is an older (and increasingly undesirable because of that) woman.

‘She’s 41! It hurts my heart to think that she’s absorbed the message that this makes her less valuable or viable as a partner!’

However, the author said she is expressing this insecurity ‘in a very predatory way’ by ‘getting mad at her TV “husband” for not wanting to be boning all the time, and for being discreet about it with the producers.’

She added: ‘It seems like she wants him to be yelling it from the rooftops, because then that confers some kind of value on her – but the whole thing is all kinds of fucked up!’

Clementine said that there's 'no correct way to want to have intimacy'

Clementine said that there’s ‘no correct way to want to have intimacy’ and men should be able to freely and confidently express a sexuality that isn’t domineering and base.

‘They need to be able to say that they prefer sex with intimacy attached, and to say that sex for them is an emotional thing,’ she added.

‘Men need to be able to comfortably reject generic ideas of men as fuck monsters, only interested in getting it in and doing the wildest and craziest of s**t.

‘Otherwise, how can we possibly hope to create a better and safer sexual environment for EVERYONE?’

She added that while there’s no correct way to ‘want or have intimacy’ that the only correct way to have sex is to ‘prioritise consent, pleasure for everyone and humanity for all involved.’

Many other viewers of the show were also worried about 40-year-old father Josh after Wednesday night’s episode aired.

The groom said he felt like a ‘sex object’ after Melissa confessed to having sized up his ‘big hammer’ based on observing his feet size.

When he gently asked her if she was putting too much emphasis on sex, Melissa replied that if he wasn’t willing to ‘keep up’ there was ‘a lot of fish in the sea that would be happy to take [his] place’.
