Strollers sold at Kmart and Target stores across Australia have been urgently recalled over fears the wheels could snap and seriously injure infants.

The ACCC warned several CNP Brand strollers may have been installed with a faulty rear axle that could snap at the wheels’ position and cause the stroller to fall.

The recall applies to the Childcare Stroller Grey, Childcare Soho Stroller Black and Childcare Zeke Stroller Navy.

They were sold between September 30 last year and February 21, 2020.

Parents have been warned to stop using the stroller immediately and contact CNP Brands to arrange a replacement of rear axle and wheels, or to arrange to have the product repaired.

More to come.
