Coleen and Wayne Rooney share a series of loved up snaps from their Ibiza getaway

They’ve been soaking up the sun during their Ibiza getaway this week. 

And Wayne Rooney took to Instagram on Thursday to share a slew of loved-up snaps with wife Coleen from their holiday.

Explaining in the post that ‘more great memories’ were made, the 36-year-old Derby County manager and his wife, also 36, appeared in high spirits for the trip.

The pair jetted off to Spain this week alongside a group of pals, including football pro’s Alex Bruce and Michael Carrick, and their wives Lucy and Lisa.

In one snap, Coleen and Wayne posed arm-in-arm beside a pool – as Coleen sported a high-low maxi skirt with a floral print, paired with a scoop neck black cami top.

She paired the look with black and gold sandals and a pleather black handbag, accessorising with statement gold hoop earrings.

The brunette beauty had her tresses in a straight style, with a half ponytail taking away locks from her face.

Smiling alongside her, Wayne opted for a pair of tan chino trousers and a charcoal polo shirt.

With her hair scooped up in a sleek bun, Coleen put on a radiant display while cosying in beside Wayne – who was suave in a khaki shirt.

Catching some group shots too, as Alex, Michael, Lucy and Lisa joined the couple for a snap in front of the seaside and mountain backdrop.

The getaway comes as Coleen awaits the verdict of the high profile Wagatha Christie libel trial – initiated by Rebekah Vardy.

She has been making trips back and forth to London from the family’s Cheshire home for the trial, after Rebekah was  roundly accused of selling stories about the mother-of-four to the press.

And the holiday came at a good time for Wayne too, who has had his woes on the pitch – finding himself powerless to stop his bankrupt Derby County side slide into the obscurity of League One football after suffering a long expected relegation from the Championship.
