Coleen Rooney steps out in athleisure during an outing in Cheshire

Coleen Rooney cut a casual figure as she stepped out in Wilmslow, Cheshire, on Wednesday as she ran some errands in her local area.

The WAG, 36, opted for athleisure chic in a black sweatshirt, teamed with a pair of black leggings which showcased her toned legs.

The mother of four styled her low-key look with a pair of black and white stripe socks, teamed with two-tone £110 Hoka trainers.

Coleen opted for minimal make-up and wore her brunette hair swept back into a low ponytail with a black scrunchie.

The TV personality, who finished her look with a pair of small silver hoops, was seen hopping out of her range rover in the market town.

It comes after Coleen shared an insight into her recent trip to Washington D.C. via social media – posting a carousel of snaps with her football manager husband.

Wayne, 37, has been spending most of his time across the pond since taking up the post of managing the Major League Soccer team, DC united.

Getting back to reality following the trip, Coleen kept comfortable in chunky trainers, while her white socks read ‘make it happen’ to keep her motivated throughout the workout.

With her hoodie wrapped around her waist, it was clear she had worked up a sweat in the gym.

Posting to her 941K followers later in the day, the mother-of-four shared that she had the ‘best time’ visiting her beau.

Smiling as they headed out on a date night, Wayne wrapped an arm around a glamorous Coleen for the first picture.

While they appeared to be taking in the sights for another snap, grabbing a selfie whilst enjoying a low-key walk.

It was a shopping-filled trip too as Coleen snapped a selfie of the couple enjoying some respite on a doorstep, surrounded by shopping carrier bags.

While earlier this week, the former footballer also shared a sweet selfie of himself and his WAG while out together in the sunshine.

The pair could be seen beaming as they enjoyed some sight-seeing in America.

Wrapping up warm, Coleen opted for a beige coat and black turtle neck jumper. She added a pair of brown sunglasses and styled her brown tresses straight.

Meanwhile, Wayne covered up in a black padded coat and black New York Yankees cap.

Sharing the selfie with his followers, Wayne penned ‘Great week with @coleenrooney’.

Despite Wayne’s commitments to be in Washington, Coleen has previously told friends she hates America and wouldn’t be moving there.

A source close to Coleen told MailOnline: ‘She’s made her views clear to Wayne. There’s no way she will want to go to Washington. The last time, she absolutely hated it there.

‘She doesn’t want to live outside the North West of England, never mind live in Washington again. The family is more settled than it’s ever been. They have four kids who are all in school and all of Coleen’s family live close to her.’

The source added: ‘There’s no way that she’d want to give all of that up to go and live in a place she hates.’

Despite this, prior to Wayne’s official move to the American club in July, the pair were said to have never been ‘more together’ – particularly after the way he publicly supported her during the £3 million Wagatha Christie libel trial against Rebekah Vardy.

One said: ‘Wayne and Coleen’s relationship is the best it’s been in a long time. He supported her 100 per cent during the libel trial, turned up to court each day and stood by his wife.

‘They’ve just enjoyed a wonderful summer break with the kids, the longest they’ve had for ages, given Wayne’s football commitments in the past. As a couple and a family, they’ve never been happier and more united.’

Coleen’s dislike of the US capital emerged in leaked text messages from 2018 sent to Vardy during the Wagatha Christie libel trial.

In response to Vardy asking how things were going, the Liverpudlian replied: ‘Hiya, hope your all week [well]. We’re ok thanks its tough being on your own though.

Coleen went on to say: ‘Washington isn’t the best… nice to visit but different to live. Not loads for the kids to do, mostly park, hardly any soft plays and things like that. It’s quite behind the UK, which I never would have thought. But we will get used to it (I hope). ‘Wayne is loving it, and the kids are fine, settled into school straight away. So really happy they are fine. Thanks for the message love xx.’

In a separate message, she admitted that she ‘never believed in homesickness’ until leaving the UK, adding that she ‘cried every night’ due to missing her family back home.
