Customers have slammed Coles for their disappointing garlic bread after discovering it was just a dry roll without filling.

Photos of bland looking bread baguettes have been shared online despite packaging describing the product to be full of the buttery garlic spread everyone loves. 

One extremely disappointed customer took to Facebook to shun the ‘garlic baguette’ twin pack.

‘I’m having a hard time locating the “garlic and parsley butter” that it’s apparently filled with,’ Rebecca Mawhinney explained.

The frustrated Coles shopper bought the bread from a Sydney store and made the heartbreaking discovery when preparing it for dinner.

Ms Mawhinney is not alone with dozens of cranky garlic bread lovers left hot under the collar.

‘Wow Coles! Garlic bread … without the butter or the garlic … isn’t that just called bread? Not happy!,’ one frustrated customer wrote online. 

‘I think your Coles garlic bread is missing something. Damn it! I guess I got what I paid for,’ another shared.

Ms Mawhinney is not alone with dozens of cranky garlic bread lovers left hot under the collar

‘Coles takes the quality of all our products seriously,’ they said.

‘We have contacted the customer and will follow up with our supplier to investigate the matter. 

‘We encourage customers to return any item that they’re not 100% happy with, to their nearest store for a full refund or replacement.’
