‘I’m having a hard time locating the “garlic and parsley butter” that it’s apparently filled with,’ Rebecca Mawhinney explained.

The frustrated Coles shopper bought the bread from a Sydney store and made the heartbreaking discovery when preparing it for dinner.

Ms Mawhinney is not alone with dozens of cranky garlic bread lovers left hot under the collar.

‘Wow Coles! Garlic bread … without the butter or the garlic … isn’t that just called bread? Not happy!,’ one frustrated customer wrote online.

‘I think your Coles garlic bread is missing something. Damn it! I guess I got what I paid for,’ another shared.

A Coles spokeserson told Daily Mail Australia they ‘pride themselves’ on their ‘quality products’.
