My Kitchen Rules star Colin Fassnidge has revealed he is suffering from a mysterious health condition.  

On Tuesday, the 45-year-old chef said he was heading to hospital to undergo several tests after finding out he had high aluminum in his blood.

‘So heading to hospital, got another blood test…Showing high range aluminium in the blood (which is really bad),’ he Tweeted.

He then turned to fans for advice on how to lower the levels of aluminium in his blood. 

‘Thought I’d ask Twitter what’s a way of lowering ? I’m sure doc will tell but as you know Twitter turns up some gold,’ he added.

According to Winchester Hospital fact sheet, toxicity can be caused by ingestion, breathing or living where there are high amounts of aluminium.  

Symptoms of aluminium poisoning include confusion, muscle weakness, bone pain, seizures and speech problems.  

Drugs can be given to eliminate aluminium from the body.

Colin has had a number of health woes this year.

‘They were looking for a heart, they couldn’t find one. I’ve had a stomach ­operation,’ the he joked at the time.

He added that despite being ‘f**king sore’, he was expecting to be discharged from the hospital without incident. 

Meanwhile, Colin, who has become a culinary sensation on My Kitchen Rules, recently said he was unsure about the future of the cooking show in the wake of Covid. 

‘I think it is all up in the air no one knows what is happening. TV is a little bit like Melbourne at the moment, they are in a world of pain,’ he told the Herald Sun.
