Conor McGregor says DNA tests prove he’s NOT father of child

Ex-UFC star Conor McGregor says he has been cleared of accusations that he fathered a love child after DNA results revealed the young girl is not his daughter.

Terri Murray, 26, had claimed she gave birth to McGregor’s child after sleeping with him at his hotel during the 2017 Grand National in Liverpool.

But McGregor says that DNA results have now confirmed that the baby, named Clodagh, is not his daughter.

The Irishman, 31, has repeatedly denied sleeping with Ms Murray, insisting that she slept with a friend of his who had joined him at Aintree.

The fighter’s spokesperson told Mail Online: ‘To conclusively end any and all erroneous media reports, Conor McGregor took a DNA test recently which confirmed to all parties that he is not the father of the child in Liverpool.’

Ms Murray claimed she had sex with McGregor just four weeks before his girlfriend Dee Devlin was due to give birth to their first child Conor Jr.

She was pictured with the mixed martial arts star but he has always denied anything happened between them.

In February, Ms Murray publicly called on McGregor to take a paternity test.

McGregor is now believed to have agreed with swabs taken from his mouth and Clodagh’s.

Testing was apparently organised through NorthGene Ltd, a DNA testing service in Newcastle.

The samples were then sent to Eurofins, a private laboratory company that carries out parentage tests in family law matters.

According to documentation seen by the Irish Independent, McGregor showed none of the biological markers that would would have been present if he was Clodagh’s father.

This meant that it was ‘practically proven’ that she is not his daughter, according to the reports.

In April, Ms Murray posted photos of Clodagh on Instagram and, in a separate post, wrote: ‘I promise there’s more to come if this rat does not take the paternity test. For those calling me all sorts of names I promise you will eat your words.

‘This is just the tip of the iceberg!’

Ms Murray also told The Mirror: ‘I don’t want his money. I just want to prove he is Clodagh’s dad and I’m not lying.’

She said she has filled in an ‘initial enquiry form’ for child maintenance in which she alleges McGregor is her daughter’s father.

‘I’m still thinking I shouldn’t do this, it is wrong, It has got to the point, I’m living with my mum, on my own, with no job, with a baby, I’m struggling, it is harder than I thought it was.

‘I really didn’t want to do this, I wish we could have sorted it out privately. I don’t know why he let it come to this.’

Ms Murray said one of McGregor’s friends did try to proposition her inside the Hilton Hotel, but claimed it was the MMA star, who was in an executive suite, who said ‘I’ve been waiting for you’, after she arrived asking for a photo.

Calling for him to get the DNA test, Ms Murray told The Sun: ‘If he gets that DNA test, I’ve said: ‘You never have to speak to me again, you can walk away’.’

‘We slept together. To be honest there was no sleep, we were not sleeping, do you know what I mean?’
