Officers say Shelton tried to ditch the truck and make a run for it across the street where she was hit.

‘Don’t hit her, don’t hit her, don’t hit her, don’t hit her, don’t hit her!’ the officer can be heard saying on camera as he warned his fellow officer.

Yet despite pleading with his colleague for caution, Shelton was hit.

‘I didn’t mean to hit her,’ the other officer responded on camera moments after the collision.

Shelton was taken to a hospital with minor injuries before being taken to jail.

She faces several charges, including possession of a stolen vehicle, possession of a controlled substance and endangering others while eluding police.

Shelton is being held in Tulsa Jail in lieu of a $5,000 bond.
