Cordless Bosch Athlet vacuum cleaner costs $600 less than Dyson and is better value

When it’s time to update your vacuum cleaner, it’s always a coin toss as to whether to spend less and hope for the best or invest in a product that costs a few hundred dollars more.

Just weeks ago, Dyson released its new cordless vacuum cleaner- the Cyclone V10. It costs $899 and it claims it will change the way you see cordless vacuums forever.

Although the Dyson is an investment purchase, those looking to splash less cash could do well to check out this cordless Bosch Athlet Vacuum.

The cordless cleaner is priced at $298 – a saving of $600 in comparison to the new Dyson and it’s claimed to deliver powerful results, on any surface.

The cordless cleaner claims to do the job of a conventional 2400-watt vacuum cleaner that comes fitted with a cord, and it has a run time of 75 minutes.

‘Fitted with a motorised All Floor High Power brush that delivers thorough and effortless results on all types of flooring, thanks to its fast spinning action and specialised bristles that pick up dust and hair,’ Harvey Norman’s website states.

The Bosch Athlet Vacuum has had glowing reviews with those who’ve used the model giving it an average rating of 4.8/5 stars.
