Corey Feldman files for legal separation from his estranged wife Courtney Ann… just a month after their split

Just one month after Corey Feldman split with his wife Courtney Ann Mitchell, the actor has filed for legal separation.

Feldman, 52, and Mitchell, 30, tied the knot in Las Vegas back in 2016, after many years of dating, first meeting at a Playboy Mansion party.

While Feldman is seeking legal separation, he is not quite filing for divorce just yet, according to TMZ.

Feldman cited ‘irreconcilable differences’ as the reason for the split, revealing they went their separate ways on June 22.

The couple didn’t bear children, so child support is not an issue, however Feldman is trying to block the court from awarding her spousal support.

‘It is with great sadness that Courtney and I have made the decision to separate after many wonderful years together,’ Feldman said in a statement in August.

Feldman continued: ‘We have been through so much together and still have much love and respect for each other. There is no one to blame.’

‘This is a case of life becoming really hard, Courtney dealing with health issues, and two people who have grown apart and now find themselves at a crossroads,’ he said.

The performer also announced that Anne, who served as his backing band’s DJ, would not be joining him on his ongoing Love ReTours 23 tour.

Feldman concluded his message by stating that he would remain close to his estranged spouse in the future.

‘We don’t know what the future will hold, but we know that the love we have for each other is not going anywhere,’ he said.

Anne also shared a statement of her own to express that ‘we’ve shared some amazing times together both private and public, and I will always cherish these moments we’ve shared together. I love him dearly and I always will.’

She continued: ‘It’s been a long journey of dealing with my own chronic fatigue syndrome which makes it difficult to keep up with the high energy of touring.’

The DJ concluded by expressing her gratitude towards Feldman, who remained by her side as she dealt with her health issues.

‘I am eternally thankful to my [husband] who has been so supportive of my [healing] process, I couldn’t have done so without his love and support,’ she said.

The actor was formerly married to Beverly Hills, 90210 star Vanessa Marcil from 1989 until 1993.

The star of The Goonies went on to tie the knot with Susie Sprague in 2002, and they later welcomed a son named Zen, aged 18, before they split up and divorced in 2014.
