A Covid-positive Aussie TikTok star has broken down in tears as he reveals to his thousands of social media followers his mum isn’t recovering from the disease.
Eessa Abdallah, known as @eessavibe by his 315, 00 followers on TikTok, has detailed the heavy toll the virus has taken on both his physical and mental health.
The 20-year-old said while he has been lucky enough to make a full recovery from Covid-19, his beloved mum is still battling the disease in hospital.
‘This is for everyone to know how serious this disease is, please take it serious, little things like making a video tires me out, I feel like I’m not myself,’ he says.

The social media star, who lives in western Sydney, explained that even though he is getting better his recovery from the virus has been ‘extremely mentally and physically draining’.
‘Also my mum, she just won’t get better,’ he continues as tears fall down his face.
He pleaded with residents in Covid-hit areas of the city’s west and southwest to comply with public health orders and keep their communities safe.
‘I know us Western Sydney people don’t like to listen, but this is so serious and we need to take it serious, because it’s a real disease and it’s hurting people.’
Mr Abdallah previously posted a ‘Covid-19 vlog’ to his TikTok account where he revealed a day-by-day breakdown of his battle with coronavirus.
The harrowing videos come in direct contrast to the TikTok star’s regular content which features the influencer performing skits as different personas.
‘Day four of Covid-19, the first three days I literally couldn’t move, but I’m better now… no I’m not,’ the relatively upbeat social media star begins the vlog.

‘Day five of Covid and I just had a mental breakdown because I woke up today and I can’t smell anything, and it just hit me I can’t taste anything,’ he continues.
‘Day six of Covid and I’m really sick. It’s painful… it’s really painful,’ an emotional Mr Abdallah says.
‘Day seven of Covid, and I’m not going to lie to you I’ve been tired today but I ate like a f***king pig and that is an accomplishment,’ the influencer says.
‘I think I’m slowly getting my appetite back, so f***k you corona.’
On day eight or nine the TikTok star films himself travelling in an ambulance and then in a hospital bed wearing a white gown and mask.
‘Here’s an update, I’m in the hospital. I couldn’t breathe, I just had a random episode,’ he said, explaining his symptoms had been extreme chest pains and wheezing.
Back home, Mr Abdallah revealed his mum was still battling the virus in hospital and admitted it was weighing heavily on his household.
By the 11th day the newly-energised social media star said he could taste and smell again and was no longer suffering from any symptoms.
‘I’m lucky enough to have recovered quickly but that is not the case for everyone,’ he told his hundreds of thousands of followers.
‘This virus is scary and we need to take it serious. I never thought it would be me and it was.’

It comes as the state recorded 1,220 new cases of coronavirus and eight deaths on Tuesday, two people in their 90s, one in the 80s, three in their 70s and one each in their 50s and 60s.
The NSW Premier has asked healthcare workers across the state to brace themselves for a surge in hospitalisations as daily cases are set to soar beyond 2,000 a day.
Modelling released by NSW Health on Monday revealed hospital intensive care units will be pushed to the brink as admissions are set to triple in October.
As of Sunday, there are 11,000 people receiving Covid treatment at home, while 1,300 people remain in hospital – including 175 in intensive care.
Authorities are pressing ahead to reopen next month, though Premier Gladys Berejiklian would not be drawn on reports that October 14 was the earmarked date.
The premier said the return of many freedoms was due to higher-than-anticipated vaccination rates, with 74 per cent of the state’s over-16 population having now received a first Covid-19 jab, and that rate was well above 80 per cent in some Sydney suburbs.
