Residents at an apartment block in a trendy bayside suburb have been ordered to isolate for two weeks as Melbourne’s latest coronavirus outbreak continues to grow.

The list of exposure sites swelled to over 500 venues as the state recorded 25 new cases on Sunday.

Four supermarkets and two chemists are among the latest exposure sites announced during Melbourne’s sixth lockdown, which is set to be extended into a third week later this week.

Residents at an apartment building in Fitzroy Street in St Kilda cannot leave their homes for two weeks after a cleaner worked at the complex while infectious for two consecutive days on August 10-11.

More to come.
