In the video he noted, ‘Well… COVID finally got me. It finally got my hind end.’

He delivered the announcement in a black bandana worn over his face as a mask and a black t-shirt.

He and his wife are both vaccinated, which Lauren shared earlier this year.

The musician is slated to kick off his Fill Them Boots tour in less than a month on January 13.

The singer is the latest celebrity to come forward with a coronavirus diagnosis, joining Charlie Puth who tweeted earlier this week that he has it.

‘I tested positive for Covid this morning,’ he wrote, and added, ‘I’m not feeling amazing but I think the worst is behind me.

‘I write you this update, feeling like complete ass, in hopes that you will be safe and careful this holiday season. Love you and I’ll speak to you very soon.’

As doctors call Omicron the ‘most contagious’ strain yet, events continue to be altered or completely shuttered.

Saturday Night Live announced that its December 18 episode will not feature a live audience nor Charli XCX’s performance, ‘devastating’ the singer.

Taking to Twitter, the account for the NBC show tweeted, ‘Due to the recent spike in the Omicron variant and out of an abundance of caution, there will be no live audience for tonight’s taping of “Saturday Night Live” and the show will have limited cast and crew.’

It was followed by another post that read, ‘The show continues to follow all government safety guidelines in addition to a rigorous testing protocol.’
