Kurt Kohnen 47, and Michelle, 43, are in critical conditions in Westmead Hospital after being shot a number of times at a home in Sydney’s west.

Terrifying footage shows the moment officers close in on David Sale, 23, as witnesses scream during the dramatic incident at Kid Close, Bidwell shortly after 7.30pm.
‘Driver your vehicle is at gunpoint, face your car,’ officers shouted at the accused.
The 23-year-old allegedly assaulted a police officer during the arrest, The Daily Telegraph reported.
‘A crime scene has been established as investigations continue,’ a NSW Police spokesman said Tuesday evening.
The 23-year-old was charged with four offences including two counts of intent to murder.
The Blackett man was refused bail and was expected to face Mt Druitt Local Court today.
