Courtney Love has issued a fiery takedown of the upcoming Hulu miniseries chronicling Pamela Anderson and Tommy Lee’s leaked sex tape, Pam & Tommy, insisting the X-rated video ‘destroyed’ the Baywatch star.
The Hole singer stood up for her friend in a lengthy post shared to her Facebook account on Sunday, where she recounted the aftermath of the tape’s release and slammed actress Lily James, who is playing Pamela, as ‘whoever the f**k she is.’
‘I find this so f**king outrageous . When Pam / tommy sex tape was out / myself @pattyschemel @xmadmx were making a record. And the lone women in many recording studios in la,’ Love, 56, wrote.

Courtney even shot down a request made by the mini-series, which is currently filming, over usage of a Rolling Stone cover she once appeared on.
‘Last week I was asked to approve using a rolling stone cover of mine / shot by mark seliger in this piece of s**t . That they had approved . I said “f**k no .” shocked . Gentleman don’t approve this sort of thing . My heart goes out to Pammy.

Starring Lily as the Baywatch icon and Sebastian Stan as Mötley Crüe drummer Tommy Lee, Pam And Tommy is based on the model’s three-year marriage to the rock star – which saw them tie the knot in 1995 and take part in their notorious sex tape.
The film also stars Seth Rogen as the man who steals their sex tape and sells it to a porn company.
Pamela reportedly has no plans to watch the star-studded series.
Insiders told The Sun that the star deems the ‘God awful’ program ‘a joke’ and has never heard of Lily or Sebastian, who have already been praised for their transformation – although seemingly without Pamela’s seal of approval.
‘Pamela has no intention of watching this God awful show, absolutely not. Never…,’ a source told the publication.

The insider then added: ‘The whole thing is a joke to them.’
Insiders previously told Deadline that Pamela and Tommy are not involved in the Hulu project, but have been aware that it is happening since Lily was brought in to play the media personality.

In May 2020, the blonde played down the clip on Andy Cohen’s show and cheekily told him: ‘That was not a sex tape. That was a compilation of vacations that we were naked on.’
Pamela also insisted she has a ‘great’ relationship with her rocker ex, stating: ‘We don’t talk at all. It’s perfect. No, we do… my kids are happy and that’s all that matters. They have a relationship now, and that’s the best part.’
The actress and Tommy were married for three years and share sons Brandon, 24, and Dylan, 23.
Pamela has also been married to Kid Rock from 2006 to 2007 and Rick Salomon from 2007 to 2008 as well as Jon Peters for 12 days in 2020.
